Overlord is by far one of the coolest games I’ve played on the 360 so far. In fact, I’d put it in my top 5 Xbox 360 games that have been released thus far.
So, with great joy, I can actually say that Codemasters has finally announced that they are going to do a sequel to Overlord….simply called Overlord II.
The minions this time around will be able to ride mounts, use war machines and sail ships. Overlord II is also going to have “epic battles” and they are working on improving the controls as well.
Overlord II will ship for Xbox 360, PS3, & PC in 2009.
But…that’s not all. Overlord: Dark Legend will be appearing on the WII, which will be set in the original Overlord‘s world with many of the same characters, but with the inclusion of some fractured fairy tale aspect. Also Overlord: Minions will be appearing on the DS, which will will present players with a puzzle action game.
