Finally Gears of War has a director (which is something the Halo movie can’t, lol). It is not other than Len Wiseman. You may know of his directing work on Live Free Or Die Hard and also Underworld: Evolution. The Gears movie was originally scheduled to come out in 2009, but due to developmental-hell issues, it looks as if it’s going to get pushed back to at least 2010.
If this does get pushed back, I’d probably look for the Gears of War 3 game to release sometime near the film…but that’s pure speculation.
